Job summary

Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland, NY is seeking qualified CNAs to join a progressive care team focused on dignity and resident-centered care. The CNA will provide direct and indirect patient care, support memory care initiatives, and assist with clerical tasks to keep units running smoothly.

This full-time role offers rotating shifts, a competitive starting pay, and opportunities to grow within a nationally recognized facility affiliated with Trinity Health.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English; High School Diploma or equivalent life-experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a sincere desire to serve others.
• Must be able to relay information concerning a resident's condition.
• Must have patience, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must possess the ability to work professional with other staff, residents, family members, and outside agencies/visitors.

Responsibilities

• CNA performs direct and indirect patient care tasks and assists with clerical and other support tasks to ensure quality patient care and efficient operation of care units.
