Missouri Veterans Commission is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant Trainee to support Veterans with direct care, vitals, and daily living activities. The role offers an hourly wage of $16.83 and a pathway to full-time CNA upon successful course completion.

Benefits are available after completion, and the program requires commitment to remain with the Missouri Veterans Home for at least 12 months post-training.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Interest in nursing field and desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to Veterans including vitals and hygiene.
• Assist with meals and grooming; help with dressing and personal care.
• Document in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Lift, move, and transfer Veterans; assist with mobility.
• Maintain reliable attendance and support a safe, respectful environment.
