Job summary

CommuniCare Health is offering Nurse Aide in Training with CNA classes on site at Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center in Point Pleasant, WV. You will join a program that provides the training needed to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and lead to full-time CNA employment upon successful completion.

We offer a variety of shifts, tuition reimbursement, and a supportive team at a large multi-state company focused on caring for residents with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive resident reports at start/end of shift.
• Monitor resident requests and needs with dignity and respect.
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents.
• Assist in preparing residents for activities inside and outside the center.
• Perform basic nursing care procedures as required.
• Ensure residents' food service needs are met promptly and compassionately.
• Follow department, center, and corporate policies and safety standards.
• Attend training and orientation programs to enhance quality of care.
• Perform other related activities as assigned.
