Job summary

St. Johns Regional Medical Center, located in Oxnard, CA, seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to support patient care under RN direction. You will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and contribute to the patient's plan of care as part of our interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a CNA program, CA CNA certification, and BLS certification. Prior hospital experience is preferred but not required.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Graduate General Studies or High School GED, upon hire
• Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program., upon hire
• Certified Nursing Assistant: CA CNA, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - BLS, upon hire

Preferred

• Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNA, preferred.
