Job summary
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a CNA/SNAP for our Systemwide Float Pool. Shift/Hours: Any, PRN. The CNA will provide care across the system based on staffing needs and float among nursing areas. Position offers exposure to diverse clinical settings and routes for professional growth.
The ideal candidate will perform direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision, assist with daily living activities, meal support, and environmental safety while following regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Must read and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math skills for charting and intake/output.
- Good employment history in healthcare or related roles.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility).
- Provide for patient comfort and safety; maintain clean environment.
- Assist with meals, feeding, and tray delivery; document intake.
- Position and transfer patients; use equipment as needed.
- Support RN/LPN with care planning and charting care provided.
