Job summary

Friendship Village Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our skilled nursing team in a part-time, first shift (7a-7p). The role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, transfers, and responding to calls, with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour and benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
• Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Transfers, transports and escorts patients as needed.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
