Signature HealthCARE in Cookeville, TN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed staff supervision. You will support ADLs, comfort, and safety for residents, while maintaining resident rights and facility standards.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state of operation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work well under pressure.

• Function independently with integrity and ability to work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within plan of care.
• Change bed linens and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other measurements.
• Routinely turn and position residents and assist with routine care.
• Support resident rights and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist residents as needed.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
