Job summary

SOUTH DADE NURSING & REHABILITATION CENTER in Miami, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care on the floor. This role requires completing a CNA course and certification, plus BCLS, with at least six months in acute or long-term care.

Per diem opportunities are available with shifts 7 AM–3:30PM, 3PM–11:30PM, and 11PM–7:30AM; weekend and holiday work is encouraged, with a weekend differential and a sign-on bonus for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of course for nursing assistants.
• Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA Certification.
• BCLS Certification.
• Minimum six months experience in acute or long term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Works as a nurse assistant on the floor in a unit performing job duties within their license nursing scope.
• Assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in an assigned area.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, provides of personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of professional nursing personnel.
