Job summary

Etowah Landing is seeking a motivated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in GA. You will provide essential personal care, document care given, and report changes to the nurse in charge, ensuring resident comfort and safety.

Qualifying candidates hold GA CNA certification and BLS, with high school diploma or equivalent. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) to residents.
• Document all care provided and report changes to the primary nurse.
• Assist with daily activities under RN/LPN supervision.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) work under the direction and supervision of RNs and LPNs to enhance the residents' experience by providing basic nursing care. Provide personal care (i.e., grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) of residents. Documents all care provided and reports changes in resident's status to primary nurse.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited program

Required Minimum Experience

• Ability to enter information into an electronic health record (EHR)
• Basic medical terminology

Required Minimum Certification(s)

• Active GA CNA Certification on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required Skills

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Basic computer skills to include data entry.
