Job summary

Aspen Transitional Rehab in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a CNA Shower Aid to provide direct care and support to residents, assisting with ADLs and promoting independence and comfort.

Schedule: Full-Time, Weekdays and Weekends, 8 hour shifts. You will work under licensed staff, monitor vitals, assist with transfers, dining, and documentation, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered rehab team. This role emphasizes teamwork and infection control, with ongoing CNA training.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA/STNA certification in the state of work.
• CPR certification is required.
• 2 years CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and orient new residents.
• Support social activities and provide companionship.
• Maintain clean, infection-controlled living environments.
• Assist with dining services and recording intake as directed.
• Document care and observations accurately per policy.
