Job summary

Experience Senior Living is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our dedicated team in Indiana. You will assist residents with personal care, daily living activities, and participate in a care plan designed to promote independence and comfort.

Responsibilities include maintaining infection control, coordinating with staff, and responding to resident calls. We value empathy, clear communication, and a warm, respectful approach to every resident and family member.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living as assigned.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks as assigned using established procedures and standards.
• Perform laundry duties as assigned.
• Review and participate in 24 Hour Reports, shift change reports and verbal reports as needed.
• Assist residents to and from scheduled life enrichment programs.
• Promote independence and residents' rights; provide support as needed.
• Provide verbal encouragement and support to residents.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services as needs change.
• Communicate changes to the Director of Health & Wellness and other departments.
• Respond to resident pendant/wearable calls promptly.
• Maintain infection control practices.
• Report accidents/incidents promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' personal care information.
• Be prepared for emergencies including disasters, fire, etc.
