$16/ hourly

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Develop close relationships with clients while helping with activities of daily living, household tasks, meal preparation, and mobility support.
• Assist with activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and meal preparation and feeding.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and transfers, including the use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide medication reminders as needed.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of work experience.
• Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
