Job summary

Right at Home Peachtree City is seeking experienced CNAs to join our care team in the Georgia counties listed. We offer flexible scheduling, on-the-job training, and opportunities for advancement while delivering compassionate in-home care.

Qualifications

• GA CNA certification required to be eligible for this position.
• Background check completed prior to employment.
• Current First Aid and CPR demonstrated.
• Current TB test or chest X-ray within required time frame.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
• Social security card or Green Card/passport.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care activities for daily living (hygiene, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and mobility as directed.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patient to appointments and run errands as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
• Support patient-specific care tasks taught by a Right at Home nurse.
• Assist with medication reminders and range of motion exercises.
• Support with glucose monitoring and incontinence care as required.

Essential Functions:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs light housekeeping activities

Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Assisting with blood glucose monitoring
• Care of bed-bound patients
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:
