Job summary

Cypress Care Center in Florida is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team for 3-11 shifts. Every other weekend is off.

As a CNA you will perform direct resident care under supervision, promote a compassionate environment, and assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and documentation to support the care plan. Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from Florida.
• Current/active CPR certification preferred.
• At least 1 year Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Team player within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) daily and as needed.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies in resident room.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and meals as assigned.
• Turn and position residents; monitor comfort and safety.
• Report condition changes to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Assist in data collection for MDS and care plans.
• Ensure adequate hydration; assist with meals and transportation to dining.
• Maintain accurate food intake/outputs and monitor environmental conditions.
• Assist with orientation and training of other staff as requested.
