Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality daily living assistance to residents at our community in State College, PA. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and flexible weekend/holiday availability.

Responsibilities include helping residents with daily activities, housekeeping, responding to calls or emergencies, and supporting activity programs.

Formación

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time; lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must attend and complete all required in-services and staff meetings.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms, common areas, and dining areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assist in moving residents to and from dining, activities, and transportation within the community.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
