Job summary

Glens Falls Center is hiring a Rehab Aide in Glens Falls, NY. Earn between $18.75 and $22.63 per hour based on experience, with an additional $0.65 shift differential. The Rehab Aide assists in delivering rehabilitation services under supervision in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities include assisting with therapy, transporting patients, maintaining equipment, and performing clerical tasks while upholding confidentiality and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification required.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical tasks (screwdriver, wrench, pliers).

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct therapy service provision under supervision of therapists.
• Transport patients to and from therapy department safely.
• Escort ambulatory residents to rehabilitation department as needed.
• Maintain equipment per infection control guidelines.
• Manage daily linens and supplies; return soiled linens per protocol.
• Perform clerical duties and therapy-related documentation.
• Maintain equipment maintenance and cleaning records and inventory.
• Participate in quality improvement activities as directed.
• Provide courteous, confidential patient care and adhere to HIPAA.
