Job summary

Optum is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide support with personal hygiene and daily living activities for an individual in their own home in Danville, PA. You will help with bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, meal prep, and accompany the client to appointments or errands as needed.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license with insurance or access to transportation, CPR certification, and the ability to work flexible hours independently while maintaining client

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs

• PA: Successfully complete one of the following: a competency OR training program developed by the agency that meets the requirements identified in 28 Pa. Code * 611.55 OR a home health aide training program meeting the requirements of 42 CFR 484.36 OR a training program meeting the training standards imposed on the agency as a provider in a Medicaid Waiver or other publicly funded program providing PCS services

Preferred Qualification

• 6+ months of home care experience
