Qualifications

• Current Kentucky CNA certification (active and in good standing).
• Ability to lift, move and assist residents as needed.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health to licensed nurses.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Support residents’ physical and emotional well-being with compassion and consistency.
• Transport, lift and reposition residents safely using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe resident environments, restock and sanitize areas.
• Assist with isolation procedures and follow infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other caregivers to ensure quality care delivery.

What you’ll do

• assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, eating and mobility
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ health to licensed nurses
• obtain and document vital signs
• supporting residents’ physical and emotional well-being with compassion and consistency
• transporting, lifting and repositioning residents safely using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment
• maintaining clean and safe resident environments, including restocking and sanitizing areas
• assisting with isolation procedures and following all infection control protocols
• collaborating with nurses, therapists, and other caregivers to ensure quality care delivery
