Job summary

About the Role

As a CNA, you’ll provide personal, hands-on care that makes a real difference in our patients’ daily lives. From helping with meals and mobility to obtaining vital signs and supporting the nursing team, you’ll be an essential part of ensuring our patients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. You’ll also bring your smile and customer service skills to families, visitors, and coworkers—it all matters!

What You’ll Do:
  • Assist patients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, eating, ambulation, positioning, etc.)
  • Take and record vital signs, collect lab specimens, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Keep patient areas safe, clean, and welcoming
  • Provide clerical and reception support including registering patients, scheduling, and greeting visitors
  • Be a champion of patient comfort, dignity, and privacy

  • Kansas C.N.A. certification required

Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Completed Certified Nurse Assistant program and minimum age of 17 required
Experience:
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in hospital setting preferred but not required
Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent skills in organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain diverse technical problems in easy-to-understand language.
  • Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills
  • Must have basic computer and Microsoft Office program skills, electronic medical record experience, and the ability to operate required nursing equipment.
Certifications/Registrations:
  • Certified Nurse Assistant certification, CPR
