Job summary

KPC Global Medical Centers Inc. Hemet, CA seeks a CNA per diem on a 12-hour shift to support nursing staff and provide resident care in the assigned unit.

The role requires prior CNA experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Sub-Acute unit and California CNA certification, plus BLS. Under supervision from Nursing Manager and RN/LVN, you will follow directions, maintain records, and assist in emergency situations while delivering compassionate care to residents on your shift.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under general direction from Nursing Manager, and/or RN/LVN assists, professional nursing personnel in providing resident care in assigned area.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training

Experience

Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility/Sub-Acute unit required.

Licensure/Certification

Possession of an appropriate, valid California certificate for nursing assistant.

BLS certification.

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Ability to:

• Understand and follow verbal and written directions.
• Learn the terminology of parts and supplies associated with area of assignment.
• Learn quickly the specific operations of a medical treatment unit.
