People Incorporated in Massachusetts is hiring a CNA per diem to support adults with development disabilities in residential settings. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care and medication distribution while promoting independence and safety.

We offer tuition assistance, scholarship opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. Shifts include 1st, 2nd and 3rd, with openings in Mansfield, Taunton and Fall River. A compassionate, community-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone’s life.
• TB screening and physical required; background check and driving record.
• Valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with development disabilities in a residential program.
• Assist with daily living activities and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care and assist with medical appointments and medication distribution.
• Coordinate individual community outings and daily structured routines.

Requirements – What do you need to have?

• Applicants must have a valid Massachusetts C.N.A. License

• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record

What Does the Job Entail?

You will be part of a team supporting adults with development disabilities in a residential program. Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes:

• Individual community outings


• Meal preparation


• Assistance with activities of daily living


• Personal care


• Medical appointments


• Medication distribution

What are Community Outings?

As a Direct Care Professional, you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples of some outings are:

• The Movies


• Shopping


• Going to Dinner


• Baseball Game


• Bowling
