Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL, seeks a Patient Care Specialist to provide supportive patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role supports unit operations, clerical tasks, stocking, ordering, and transport, while delivering service excellence to patients and families.

Under the RN direction, you will assist with patient care duties and workflow, contributing to a multidisciplinary team in a 295-bed hospital with extensive services.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Vocational/Technical training preferred.
Associate’s degree or higher may be required for some roles.
Bachelor’s or Master's degree holders may be preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

Provide supportive patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Assist with unit operations including clerical work, stocking, ordering, and transporting.
Support nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care and service excellence.
