Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide support, companionship, and comfort to immobile, recovering, or frail clients
• Report changes in clients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to relevant parties
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth
• Engage clients in suitable activities such as games, walks, or conversations
• Perform basic housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Assist with household finances, bills, and payments; run errands as needed
• Accompany clients to outings and arrange transportation to medical appointments
• Provide mobility support with walking aids and wheelchairs
• Maintain a hygienic, tidy, and safe environment

Key Considerations

• Ensure all transfers are performed safely using proper technique to prevent injury
• Respect clients’ dignity during personal care activities such as bathing and brief changes
• Maintain open communication to understand clients’ comfort levels and evolving needs

Pay Rate

Hourly: $14 - $15
