The role emphasizes mobility support, personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, safety, and clear communication with families and providers. Training and ongoing development are provided; flexible PRN and schedule options are offered.

Qualifications

• Driver's license is required for eligibility.
• CPR certification is required for activation.
• CNA or PCA certification (if applicable) is required/preferred.
• TB test result within 7 days if not current.
• PCA online test provided for free if needed.
• Background check instructions will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Mobility Support: Transfers, walking, exercises.
• Meal Prep: Cook meals based on dietary needs.
• Medication Reminders.
• Light Housekeeping: Laundry, cleaning, bed changes.
• Companionship: Emotional support and social interaction.
• Transportation: Appointments, errands.
• Home Safety: Keep environment safe and hazard-free.
