Merriam Gardens Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a part-time basis, working every other weekend from 7am to 3pm in Shawnee, Kansas.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, record vital signs, support nurses with care, and help maintain a safe, clean environment while delivering five-star care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Kansas.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Support nursing staff with direct patient care, including medication administration and wound care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
