Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on the 1st shift (7a-3p). This part-time role supports residents in a warm, home-like setting and emphasizes attentive daily care.

As a CNA, you will assist with activities of daily living, document care, and report changes to the team while engaging residents in meaningful activities. Prior dementia care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Active CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred.
  • Experience caring for residents with dementia is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
  • Document care provided and report changes to staff.
  • Engage residents in activities and provide emotional support.
  • Utilize customer service skills to ensure quality care.

We're hiring Part Time on 1st Shift, 7a-3p - Scheduled days available are Sunday & Monday.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
  • Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
  • Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
  • Other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
