Douglas County Visiting Nurses seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and related services in patients’ homes under the plan of care. Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and activities of daily living to promote safety and comfort.
Train families on lifting techniques and support independence while maintaining required charting and reports. Graduation from high school or GED is preferred but not required; CNA must be in good standing for Help at Home program.
The CNA is responsible for providing personal care and other services outlined in the Plan of Care to patients/clients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. Care is provided in accordance with the policies of the agency and the nursing plan of care for the patient/client and the manager.
Visiting Nurses requires a criminal background check and motor vehicle (MVR) check for all employees once a conditional offer of employment has been extended by the hiring manager.
