Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga seeks a Part Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on end-of-life care. You will work with a nursing team to meet patients’ physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect and dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Current, unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum one year CNA experience in an acute or long-term care setting; hospice experience a plus.

• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: follow the care plan to ensure comfort and well-being of patients and attend to requests from patients and family/caregiver.
• Assist with Personal Care: support patients with bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
• Be Dedicated to Customer Service: provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Provide Support for Families: guide and support families caring for terminally ill loved ones.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: document patient details per care plan and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.


• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice exp a plus!


• Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state‑mandated


• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

$18.50 - $19.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
