Job summary

Concordia at Bethlen is offering a paid Certified Nursing Assistant training program in Westmoreland County, PA. The three-week class includes classwork, lab skills, and full pay during training at $17.50/hour. After graduation, you will earn $20/hour on the floor, with $2.50/hour afternoon and $1.00/hour midnight shift differentials.

Once CNA certification is obtained, base pay rises to $21.25/hour. Both full-time and part-time positions are offered for daylight, afternoon, and midnight shifts,

Qualifications

• Must be caring, compassionate and understanding.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with eating and drinking.
• Ambulating, transferring, toileting, bladder and bowel management.
• Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, turning and positioning.
• Documenting the care that was provided.
• Providing treatment per the ADL/treatment book.
• Answering resident call bells and responding to needs promptly.
