Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Nursing Float Pool as a Full Time, 0.90 FTE, Day shift. The compensation for this opening ranges from $24.36 to $33.38 per hour, with starting pay determined by education, experience and applicable agreements.

The CNA provides direct and supportive patient care under RN supervision, assists with routine tasks, maintains patient conditions and records, and participates in unit activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to apply age-specific growth and development principles.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care as delegated by RN within CNA scope.
• Perform basic technical tasks: CPR, vitals, intake/output, dressings, treatments.
• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, nutrition.
• Help patients with mobility and transfers.
• Document relevant patient data and support unit operations.
