Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania is hiring a CNA Nursing Assistant for Personal Care on a part-time day shift. The role focuses on providing compassionate resident care and helping with daily activities, under the Mission of Love.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Pennsylvania Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, hair care, mouth care, feeding, back care, toileting).
• Transport residents using a wheelchair or assist to ambulate for activities or appointments.
• Assist licensed personnel with treatments (e.g., catheterizations, enemas).
• Keep resident rooms neat and stocked with supplies.
• Participate in in-service education, floor conferences, and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do:

As a CNA Nursing Assistant - Personal Care, you will carry out our Mission of Love by performing various resident care activities and related non-professional nursing services.

Our CNA Nursing Assistant - Personal Care is responsible for the following:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, i.e., bathing, hair care, mouth care, feeding, back care and toileting. Perform any of the procedures included in NA training manual.
• Transport residents using a wheelchair or assist resident to ambulate to activities or special appointments, i.e., PT, Podiatry, Beauty Shop, etc.
• Assist licensed personnel with special treatments, i.e., catherizations and enemas, etc.
• Assist in keeping residents rooms neat, replenish personal care items as needed.
• Participate in in-service education programs, floor conferences and nursing staff meetings.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

What You Need as a CNA Nursing Assistant - Personal Care:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Must possess a Pennsylvania Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Must have a minimum of one year experience in a skilled nursing care facility.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
