Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client homes when scheduled.
• Physical endurance for lifting groceries and assisting clients.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking per dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.
• Compassion, understanding and a desire to brighten each client's day.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Planning and preparing meals with clients.
• Handling light housekeeping duties.
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents.
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips.
• Reminding clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
