Visiting Angels Eastside WA seeks a compassionate CNA Nurse Aide to support clients in their homes across Kirkland, Redmond, and surrounding areas. You’ll follow personalized care plans and help with daily living activities.

This role offers flexible shifts, weekly pay, and opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer's care. A supportive office team and benefits for full-time staff are available.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a Reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking within dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with state and office health and safety standards.
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten the day of each client.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks and mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship and respond to emergencies.
• Accompany clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Transport clients to appointments as needed.

Role

As a Visiting Angels CNA Nurse Aide, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

CNA Nurse Aide Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must

• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
