Job summary

Visiting Angels of Hurst is seeking a CNA Nurse Aide to support clients in the HEB area including Euless, Hurst, Bedford and surrounding communities. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders in home-based care.

We offer flexible schedules, competitive wages ($16–$19/hour), and opportunities for advanced dementia/Alzheimer’s training. A high school diploma and reliable transportation are required, with benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle duties.
• Reliable transportation and current driver’s license to reach client homes.
• Able to assist with mobility, meals, and light housekeeping as needed.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards for home care.

Responsibilities

As a Visiting Angels CNA Nurse Aide, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene


• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks


• Planning and preparing meals with clients


• Handling light housekeeping duties


• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents

CNA Nurse Aide Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must


• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once


• Reliable transportation and current driver’s license to get to and from client homes at the times you are scheduled to provide care


• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to tasks like carrying groceries and transferring a client


• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary requirements


• Be willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)


• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
