Visiting Angels of Columbia is hiring CNAs to serve clients throughout the local area with flexible schedules and competitive wages.

As a CNA Nurse Aide, you’ll assist with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship, following each client’s care plan while maintaining safety. Join a nationwide network and grow your skills with advanced training in dementia care and other specialties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle for transporting clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training preferred/required (provided if needed).
• Physically able to assist with mobility, daily activities, and walking.
• Reliable transportation to client homes and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.

• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

As a Visiting Angels CNA Nurse Aide, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties

• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips

CNA Nurse Aide Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
