Job summary

AmeriCare Plus is hiring for in-home caregivers to provide compassionate, reliable care in clients' homes. Roles include CNA, NA, and PCA with emphasis on personal care, mobility support, and companionship.

We offer flexible schedules (FT/PT/PRN), weekly pay, and benefits for full-time staff. Training and PPE are provided to support caregivers in delivering high-quality service across Virginia.

Qualifications

• CNA, NA, or PCA certification required or online PCA training offered.
• Reliable transportation and Virginia driver’s license required.
• SS card and 2 professional references required.
• Demonstrates compassion, patience, and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care including hygiene, grooming and bathing.
• Support mobility and transfers (e.g., bed to wheelchair).
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and monitoring.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Monitor and report changes in health or behavior.
