Job summary

AmeriCare Plus in Alabama is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA), and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide in-home personal care to clients in their own homes. The role emphasizes compassionate, reliable caregiving and assisting with daily activities.

Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN schedules are available with weekly pay. Training for PCA certification and PPE are provided, along with referral bonuses and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• CNA, NA, or PCA certification required; PCA training available online for PCA interest.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (where applicable).
• SS card and 2 professional references preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Support mobility and transfers (bed to wheelchair).
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
