The Certified Nurse Aide / Mental Health Aide performs personal care services by completing patient care assignments, providing an atmosphere conducive to treatment, and supporting patients with mental health and chemical dependency issues in an effort to meet the patients' needs.
Provide personal care services to patients, accurately observe, recognize, report, and record patient behaviors, carry out individual program plans, assist in lifting and transferring patients, communicate information clearly and concisely, follow oral and written instructions, and work constructively with patients.
Certified Nurse Aide (C.N.A.) certification required for the Geriatric program.
Eligible for Veterans' Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
