Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for an on-call, per diem role. Minimum five 12-hour shifts in a 4-week period, with at least one 1900-0730 shift or weekend shift and one summer/winter holiday per year.

The CNA will deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, following the care plan, and support nursing staff in providing high-quality care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) completing OSBN recognized CNA course or equivalent education/experience
  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Description

Certified Nursing Assistant - Medical Surgical Unit at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. This is an on call, per diem role. Minimum availability of five 12-hour shifts in a 4 week schedule period. One of these shifts needs to be a 1900-0730, or a weekend shift. One summer and one winter holiday per year required.

Shift Incentives:
  • Evening differential - $2.25 p/hr
  • Night differential - $4.00 p/hr

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan. The CNA assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Completion of certification course for Certified Nursing Assistants. Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized CNA course or equivalent education/experience or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
