Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Full Time CNA/Med Tech to join The Coventry and Pine Meadow Assisted Living Facilities in Southern Pines, NC. The role requires dual CNA and Med Tech licensure with at least optional one year of experience in elder care.

You will provide hands-on daily living assistance, support mobility, monitor health and respond to calls while maintaining privacy and safety standards. Day-1 benefits include paid holidays, PTO, DailyPay, tuition reimbursement, and vendor discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in daily living activities and elder care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Elders with activities of daily living (dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support safe transfers and mobility using lifts and equipment.
• Perform/restorative exercises and daily ROM.
• Record data and respond to resident calls promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Follow end-of-life care procedures and privacy policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Elders with daily living functions: dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care, and shaving according to expressed preference.


• Support lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.


• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures, including daily Range of Motion Exercises.


• Record data promptly and respond to Resident calls.


• Adhere to established safety precautions, including the proper use and disposal of personal protective equipment.


• Wear/use safety equipment and supplies (e.g., gait belt, mechanical lifts) when lifting or moving residents in accordance with the plan of care.


• Report changes in the Resident's condition promptly to the supervisor/designee.


• Maintain resident care confidentiality and ensure nursing care is provided with privacy.


• Follow established End of Life Procedure.


• Attend scheduled training, in-service training, mandatory annual in-service training, and educational classes as required/needed.


• Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with community policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

• Dual licensure required (C.NA and Med Tech)


• One year of experience is desirable.
