Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Tele Observation Team in Downtown Jacksonville. This full-time day shift runs 36 hours per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. CNAs assist RNs in patient care, maintain a safe environment, collect specimens, and document in the EMR, under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist RNs supporting in the care of patients.
• CNAs work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Patient activities of daily living.
• Maintaining a safe environment for patients.
• Collecting lab specimens.
• Intake and output monitoring.
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
