Responsibilities

• Completes charge and inventory slips; monitors supply inventory daily and cleans instruments and equipment.
• Maintains resident stability by checking vital signs and recording intake and output.
• Provides resident comfort by responding to call bells and requests; reports observations to the nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Protects privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential and adhering to HIPAA.
