Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months clinical experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations.
• Utilizes a holistic approach, performs basic nursing care and treatments within scope of practice as directed by the licensed nurse.
• Ensures complete, accurate and timely entry into patient medical records as indicated by patient need and documentation guidelines.
• Adheres to safety standards, policies and procedures; anticipates and identifies problems and safety issues.
• Uses performance improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of patient care and supports the Magnet Model.
• Demonstrates collaborative, caring communication with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team.
• Acts as a resource and mentor; responds to questions and assists with problem resolution.
• Identifies growth and development needs and completes required continuing education.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet department needs.
