Job summary

Vi Living is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Palo Alto area location. The CNA will assist licensed staff with daily living activities, including light housekeeping, dining/tray service, and escort services.

The role requires current CNA certification, CPR/AED and First Aid, with preferred geriatric care experience. Food handler certification may be required, along with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification and experience required.
• Prior geriatric care experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/AED certifications required.
• First Aid certification required or willing to obtain.
• Food handler and additional certifications as required.
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed care staff with activities of daily living.
• Light housekeeping, dining tray service and escort duties.
• Take vital signs and weights as assigned.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the care team.
