The Aspenwood Company - The Village on the Park Onion Creek is seeking experienced CNAs to provide compassionate resident care in a warm, homelike setting. Full-time roles include evenings and overnight shifts with weekend and holiday requirements; the company offers to cover CNA license costs for new hires who join full-time.

Location is Village on the Park Onion Creek, an Independent Living and Assisted Living community. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification is required.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification.
• 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and dining, while encouraging independence and respect.
• Serve meals in the dining room or residents' apartments, assist in meal preparation, and promote proper nutrition and hydration, respecting residents' right to free choice.
• Participate in and initiate leisure activities, encouraging residents to socialize and form friendships.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, documenting leisure activities, incidents, observations, and changes in residents' conditions.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment by performing general housekeeping duties.
• Follow proper procedures during emergencies and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.
