Job summary

Elk Valley, a partner in LHC Group and part of the Optum family, is hiring a Per Diem Aide to support an individual at home with personal hygiene and daily living tasks. You will assist with bathing, grooming and mobility, and help with meals and appointments.

Responsibilities include monitoring client condition, documenting vital signs, and maintaining a safe home environment while preserving confidentiality using EVV. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Required Qualification

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit

State-Specific Requirements (remove As Applicable)

• TN: 75 hours of training including 16 clinical hours within first 3 months; qualified for basic services

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently

The hourly pay for this role will range from $13.00 to $20.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
