Job summary

BrightStar Care of North Miami & Miami Beach in Florida is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care to seniors and adults, helping them live safely and independently at home.

Starting pay ranges from $15–$17 per hour with weekly pay, flexible schedules, weekend/evening/live-in opportunities, and dedicated training. Join a supportive team focused on meaningful client care and career growth.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA certification/licence in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Physical and negative TB skin test within the last 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Successful completion of required drug screening and motor vehicle background screening.
• Spanish-speaking skills preferred.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, dependable support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, ambulation, transfers.
• Accompany clients to errands, appointments, and outings.
• Assist with mobility exercises according to the plan of care.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing.
• Provide companionship and day-to-day assistance while fostering independence.

What You’ll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you’ll provide compassionate, dependable support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, pharmacies, and other outings
• Assist clients with active and passive mobility exercises according to their plan of care
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the Director of Nursing
• Provide companionship and day-to-day assistance while helping clients maintain their independence

What You’ll Need

• Valid Florida CNA certification/license in good standing
