  • Current Driver's License required for Driver portion.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers and assists in basic patient care under supervision.
  • Communicates with leadership to coordinate workloads.
  • Performs CNA assessments and documents vital signs and changes.
  • Maintains patient privacy per Logan Health policies.
  • Assists with activities of daily living and daily care tasks.
  • Maintains inventory and supplies; ensures equipment safety and cleanliness.
  • Ensures compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards.
  • Supports team to set and maintain patient care priorities.
  • Performs administrative duties per department procedures.

Qualifications
  • Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
  • Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Possess an understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.
  • To be eligible for the Driver portion of the position: Current Driver's License required.
  • Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e; DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.).
  • In addition, personal vehicles used for LH business: State law minimum liability coverage limits required.

Job Specific Duties
  • Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership and as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Communicates with assigned leadership in an effort to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
  • Performs accurate CNA assessment while taking patient's vital signs. Informs appropriate stakeholders of any abnormal vital signs and/or changes in the patient's condition, per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Maintains patient privacy as defined by Logan Health policies and procedures.
  • Assists patient with activities of daily living as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Accurately and timely documents the care rendered to the patient as defined by department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Assists in maintaining function by maintaining inventory, restocking of rooms, supply areas, maintains equipment for safety and cleanliness, as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Assists with maintaining compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards.
  • Works with appropriate stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.
  • Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient, provides personal care per department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).

Schedule

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
