Job summary

Select Medical Rehabilitation - Palm Beach is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. The role involves patient care, vital signs, and daily living support in a hospital setting inside Select Specialty Hospital - Palm Beach.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, assisting with meals and mobility, and ensuring safety during transfers. A valid Florida CNA license is required, with BLS or completion within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.
• Active CNA license in the state.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely, and participating in mobility programs.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that support physical well-being.
• Transporting patients to designated areas and treatment centers.
