Job summary

Senior Helpers of Honolulu-Kahala is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care in the Honolulu area. As a caregiver, you will engage clients in daily activities, offer companionship, and support families by helping with personal care and daily tasks in the home.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, flexible scheduling, and ongoing growth opportunities within a supportive team environment.

What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships.

• Companionship
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Respite Care
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
• Must be open to on-call care overnight shifts
